Barossa Valley Meat FAQ's
Ordering Process
STEP 1 – Choose your box and place a deposit to lock in your order for the next processing run.
STEP 2 – You will be contact by one of our staff for confirmation and asked if you would like any of the cuts customised and the packaging portions. The date and pick up/delivery location will then be discussed.
STEP 3 – You will be given 2 days notice before your order is ready for dispatch
STEP 4 – Have your Freezer READY! All of our meat will arrive fresh.
Processing can vary throughout the year, but usually between 4-6 weeks, you will be advised on processing time, once order has been made.
All meat is Vacuum packed for freshness, then packed in our boxes for ease of transport, ready for your fridge or freezer. Vacuum packed meat will last in the fridge for up to 3 weeks, depending on the cut. We recommend freezing on the day of delivery for optimal freshness.
Yes, but only up until a week before delivery date.
If prior delivery arrangements have not been made to a specific point (eg; your home or public meeting spot) meat will be stored in the temperature controlled fridge in the Reception at Barossa Helicopters (261 Hoffnungsthal Road, Lyndoch, SA) awaiting your pick up.
Yes, Barossa Valley Meat can only be purchased through bulk ordering.
Yes, of course. Please contact us for delivery prices BEFORE placing a deposit.
Cancellations Policy
If you decide to cancel at anytime after your deposit has been made, you will forfeit your deposit.
Payment
Before your order leaves Barossa Valley Meat, we’ll confirm everything is ready for you. The remaining balance is due before dispatch. A final invoice will be issued prior to delivery, and orders will only be dispatched once full payment has been received.
Yes, The boxes are an approximate guide, there can be 2-3kg variations. You will only be charged on final weight.
Our Location & Delivery
Barossa Valley Meat is located on our farm at 261 Hoffnungsthal Road, Lyndoch (Also home of Barossa Helicopters).
Pick up/Delivery
We can offer delivery in our temperature controlled Coolroom within a 50km radius of Lyndoch for a flat rate of $50 per order. If delivery is required outside this area, please enquire for pricing.
Absolutely! We can have your meat ready and waiting in our reception in our temperature controlled fridge, located at Barossa Helicopters (261 Hoffnungsthal Road, Lyndoch, South Australia)
Delivery interstate will be charged on a case by case scenario. Please enquiry before placing an order.
